Lunch with Roy
Disney Reaches $1,000 Bid
(by digitalmediafx.com) Disney is auctioning off a lunch with Roy Disney
and bidding has already reached $1,000 with seven days left in the auction.
Disney describes the experience as follows:
"Here is a rare opportunity indeed -- the winning bidder will be treated to an exclusive tour of Disney's Feature Animation Studio in Burbank, California, a building which is closed to the general public. Then he or she will enjoy lunch with Roy Disney, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Walt Disney Company -- as well as the son of Roy O. Disney and the nephew of Walt -- at Disney's executive dining room, The Rotunda. This special event will take place on Monday, November 12, 2001."

New Lord of the
Rings Trailer
(by digitalmediafx.com) A new Lord of the Rings trailer will
air tonight on TV during the season premiere of Angel on the WB. The show
airs at 9PM PST/EST. Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring
opens in theaters nationally on December 19, 2001. The movie is part one
of a trilogy that will be released in consecutive years. The first installment
of the trilogy is rated PG-13 and its current running time, if it is not
cut further, is just over two and half hours.

According to the Washington Post:
"A lot of video games just don't seem appropriate anymore.
Since Sept. 11, many
video-game developers and publishers have announced that they are either
canceling or delaying new titles as a result of the terrorist attacks
on New York and Washington. In most cases, they are reviewing their games
for material involving planes and terrorists or either city..."
