Movies Being Postponed After Disaster
(by digitalmediafx.com) Hollywood is finding itself in a magnitude of dilemma after the attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon on Tuesday. The dilemma is whether or not to proceed with the release and production of movies that show terrorists attacking the United States. Several movies, including Collateral Damage which Warner Bros. has postponed without announcing a new release date. It was originally scheduled to be released on October 5. The movie is about a terrorist attack in Los Angeles aimed at a specific ambassador, but also wiping out innocent victims whose families seek revenge.

Spider-Man posters and a movie trailer which both feature the World Trade Center have been pulled from theaters and from the Internet. In addition, the ending to Men In Black 2 is being completely redone to change the backdrop of the finale which featured the World Trade Center buildings. Studios for the movie The Last Castle have pulled all advertising which features U.S. prisoners flying a U.S. flag upside down.

News Link of the Day - Nintendo Bets on Miyamoto, Guru of Video Games

According to Bloomberg News:

"Ever imagined you're an astronaut, crash-landed on an unknown planet, able to plant your own army of space elves to fight aliens and repair your ship? Perhaps not since you were a kid.

His multicolored Pikmins, who sprout from seeds and wear petals as hats, are among the new characters available with the GameCube game console, which went on sale yesterday in Japan..."
