Men In Black 2
Ending to be Refilmed After Disaster
(by digitalmediafx.com) The ending to Men In Black 2 will be refilmed
according to the filmmakers after the terrorist attack Tuesday on the
World Trade Center. The current ending of the movie takes place against
the backdrop of the World Trade Center.
A Sony Pictures spokesperson
was quoted by Daily Variety on Wednesday as saying, "There was a
scene set against the background of the World Trade Center, and given
yesterday's tragedy, we are now in the process of looking at alternatives."
The spokesperson also
indicated that any other scenes that show the World Trade Center would
likely be refilmed or edited. It is unknown if the changes will affect
the July 3, 2002 release of the movie.

Emmy Award Winners

have been canceled, a number of awards had already been presented prior
to Tuesday's tragedy. Amongst the winners announced were the ones in the
animation and visual effects categories. Here is the list of winners:

Best Visual Effects
for a Series
Winner: Voyager
Best Visual Effects

Winner: Frank Herbert's Dune (Sci-Fi Channel)

According to BBC News:
"Fictional teenage
wizard Harry Potter has cast a spell over his fans, after more than 25,000
specially minted coins sold in less than five hours.
It was billed as the
world's first official legal tender coin based on the JK Rowling books,
which have sold more than 100 million copies worldwide..."
