- September 7, 2001 Monsters, Inc.
Given "G" Rating by MPAA Earlier this year, Disney (which is distributing Monsters, Inc.) moved the release date for Monsters, Inc. up to November 2 in order to avoid going head to head with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Pixar is encouraged by early screenings of Monsters, Inc. which has received higher scores than the mega-successful Toy Story 2 when it test screened. The only "G" rated movie released over the summer was Disney's live action The Princess Diaries which will cross the $100 million mark this weekend to become one of the most successful films of the summer, beating out other high profile movies like A.I. Harry Potter

just over two hours in length, has received a PG rating by the Motion
Picture Association of America. It opens in the U.S. on November 16, 2001. Blood: The Last
