Animated Shorts Online

of its animated shorts, including a snippet from its For the Birds
short, which is now playing in front of Monsters, Inc.

Lucas Confirms
Star Wars 2 Trailer with Harry Potter
(by digitalmediafx.com) George Lucas has confirmed that there
will be a new trailer for Star Wars: Attack of the Clones
that will be attached to Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
This trailer will be longer than the one currently playing before
Monsters, Inc. but not as in depth as a trailer LucasFilm
is working on for release in April 2002, a month before the movie
hits theaters.
Harry Potter
and the Sorcerer's Stone hits theaters next Friday, November
16, 2001.

Harry
Potter Special to Air this Sunday
(by digitalmediafx.com) Katie Couric will host a one hour
special on NBC this Sunday that takes a closer look at the upcoming
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone special and the hysteria
surround the release of the movie which is expected to break nearly
every opening box office record ever.
The special
will air at 7PM. Dateline NBC describes the special as follows:
"In a
one-hour Katie Couric Special Harry Potter: Behind the Magic,
NBC’s Katie Couric brings to life the mysterious world of
Harry Potter and the story that’s captivated millions of
readers worldwide. Couric gets a personal tour of Hogwarts School
of Witchcraft and Wizardry, courtesy of the young stars of the
eagerly anticipated film. Interviews with director Chris Columbus,
exclusive clips from the film and behind-the-scenes footage enable
Couric to bring viewers to a place that up until now has only
existed in the imagination of fans."
