Jackie Chan Becomes Burger King Toy to Promote "Jackie Chan Adventures"
Jackie Chan Plays with the Jackie Chan Burger King Toy(by Burger King is releasing a set of toys today aimed at promoting the "Jackie Chan Adventures" Saturday morning animated series. "Jackie Chan Adventures" was originally given a 13-episode run that was recently expanded to 39 episodes for next season due to the success of the series. Now Burger King has decided to get in on the action.

During the eight-week promotion, Burger King will release a new item every week based on the series. In addition, Burger King today launched a series of tie-in commercials that promote "Jackie Chan Adventures" and the Burger King toys.

According to a press release quote:

"With Jackie Chan Adventures, Burger King Corporation partners with the next hot kids' property on the market and delivers a highly collectible program that delights children with every visit," said Richard Taylor, vice president of USA marketing for Burger King Corporation. "The strong non-violent messages and the family values projected clearly in the show are complementary strategic fits with the Burger King brand."

The "Jackie Chan Adventures" Burger King toys can be combined to work together. Any Jackie Chan toy will interact in an action sequence with any of the "Villain" toys. According to Burger King, "the stunt double activation is easy and involves no complex setup -- just put the bad guys into place, and activate Jackie."
