The Proud Family Holiday Special (by digitalmediafx.com) The Disney Channel will air a special holiday episode of its animated series "The Proud Family" on Friday, December 7, at 7PM. Titled "Seven Days of Kwanzaa," the episode will feature voice appearances by Vivica A. Fox, Raven Symone, Samuel L. Jackson who will do voices of a homeless family. The story goes like this... When the Prouds befriend a homeless family (Vivica A. Fox, Raven Symone, Samuel L. Jackson), they learn the holiday season is a time to reflect on the seven principles of Kwanzaa: unity, self determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity and faith, not just gift giving. "The Proud Family" is an animated sitcom that follows the adventures of Penny Proud (Kyla Pratt), a 14-year-old African American girl who's doing her best to navigate through the mysteries, mishaps and merriment that come with those difficult early years of teendom. The series, produced by Jambalaya Studio and
Hyperion Studio in association with Disney Channel, is created by Bruce
Smith and executive produced by Bruce Smith, Ralph Farquhar, Willard Carroll
and Tom Wilhite. Kurt Albrecht serves as the series' executive in charge
