Monsters,
Inc. Testing Better than Toy Story 2!
(May 11,
2001 - by digitalmediafx.com) Early test screenings of Pixar's
Monsters, Inc. are scoring higher marks than past Pixar
films, including Toy Story, A Bug's Life, and Toy
Story 2.
"Our
studio's next feature film, Monsters, Inc., is turning
out to be fantastic," says Pixar CEO Steve Jobs. "It's
scoring higher than any of our prior films in test screenings,
and will be released domestically in theaters on November 2nd,
2001.''

Pixar is
confident enough in Monsters, Inc. and current earnings,
that it has announced it is raising its stock projections for
2001 from the previous range of $0.30 to $0.50 per share, to
a new range of $0.40 to $0.55 per share.
Yesterday, Pixar released better than estimated results for
First Quarter 2001, resulting in its stock jumping more than
$2 more a share in after hours trading.
