Great
Movie!
Having just got back from taking my family to see Monsters,
Inc. I can say that it is one of the best family movies
I have seen in a long time. The bird film was also great!
My thanks to those who produced this wonderful movie.
~ Anna Jones
Great
for Adults Too
Just saw Monsters with my grand daughter. I enjoyed
it as much as she did. When it's available, I will add
Monsters to my collection of wonderful Pixar DVDs that
I keep to intertain visiting grand kids.........and myself.

Constantly
Creative
I'm glad that Pixar is being constantly creative while
at the same time, focusing on other ideas and different
themes in their movies. What I like about Monsters,
Inc. is that the energy and creativity is fresh to
the very end! Usually, in films like these, the appeal
seems to wear off as the film ages, but I was held completely
through the entire course of the story. It makes me wonder
how the outtakes could be like...

Toy
Story Was Better
Monsters, Inc. was a good movie, but it seemed
to lack the depth that the two Toy Story movies
contained. Don't get me wrong - I loved Monsters, Inc.
but just not as much as the classic Toy Story movies.
Next to Shrek, I'd say that Monsters, Inc.
is the best animated movie of the year. I can't wait for
Disney's next animated film.

(editor's
note: Pixar was the animation studio behind Monsters,
Inc. and the two Toy Story movies. Disney is distributing,
marketing, and merchandising Pixar's movies. Disney's
last animated movie was Atlantis:
The Lost Empire)
Loved
It!
Loved it! The lead-in short feature, "For the Birds",
had me howling before the main feature even started; the
range of expression the animators were able to give the
stylized little birds was amazing. I especially liked
the chase scene through the doors. It was reminiscent
of some classic Chuck Jones cartoons. Sulley's growing
relationship with Boo throughout the film was true and
touching. I look forward to more work from Pixar and Pete
Docter!
